Policies

Appointments
We can sometimes accept appointments same day, but please, when possible, schedule well ahead! We want to make sure you can get in according to your schedule, so the best plan of action is to plan ahead and work your appointments into a regular routine. When making your appointment, think about what you want to achieve from your session, and discuss your options with the person you are speaking with. Plan ahead. Make time to compensate for traffic, etc. Pick a time when you will not be rushed, agitated, or otherwise inconvenienced by your appointment. Make sure the time, place, therapist, and type of session are understood both by you and the person making the appointment for you.
First Visit
Your first visit is very important. You will have a short form to fill out, so please plan to be at least 10 minutes early. Fill out the form in its entirety so that we may best serve you. Any injuries, even those that occurred a long time ago, list them as well as any ailments. We send out a complimentary gift certificate on your birthday, so please fill out all contact information as well. Take a seat and your practitioner will find you.
Cancellaton Policy
We require at least a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation. We respect your time, and we expect the same in return. It is frustrating for our staff to have a completely booked day with many clients trying to get in and there be a person who does not show up at the appointed time. It is also disrespectful to not only our employees, but other guests that may have wanted to get in at your time. Please understand that our staff gets paid only if they take an appointment.
Late Policy
We cannot make up time for a client if they are not on time. For example, if a client is scheduled for an hour massage at 1:00 PM, and they arrive at 1:15 PM, the appointment must still end at 2:00. The therapist may have an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM, and it is not fair for the therapist or their next client to push back their appointment or cut into their time. There is no exception for this policy even if the therapist does not have an appointment scheduled immediately afterwards. Consider the same situation as above. If while in the session another client would like to get in at 2:00 PM, they cannot. Worse yet, if the therapist’s shift is over at 3:00 PM, that would mean they would have lost 45 minutes of time they could have been working with a client.
Length of Session
Please refer to the services section for a full description of the length of each session for each type of service. Remember that the sessions include preparation and consultation.
Payment
Payment is due before or immediately after your service has been rendered in the form of cash, check, credit card, or suitable gift certificate. We accept most health insurances for massage wellness.
